Kenes Group, the professional congress organiser, has shuffled the managerial deck.

Newcomer Smara Iglesia assumes the role of managing director Kenes Spain, replacing Carlos de Sebastian, who becomes managing director of Kenes Latin America.

Iglesia brings to Kenes more than 15 years of experience in international conference and exhibition management as well as a cross-functional expertise in business development, logistics and production. She has previously worked for corporate event production companies as well as renowned national and international Professional Congress Organisers (PCOs).

“We are excited to welcome Smara onboard. We trust that together with Carlos, they will strengthen our presence in Spain and LATAM,”said Dan Rivlin, CEO at Kenes Group.

“We live in a dynamic world, where we need to remain flexible in order to maintain our edge. To do that, we have to be open to structural changes that will allow us to work better and provide services expected of us from our clients.”
