The Association Meeting Programme (AMP) a flagship event of the International Congress Convention Association (ICCA), will take place in Tirol next June.
The educational summit return to Austria for the first time in eight years since its predecessor the Research, Sales and Marketing Programme came to Bregenz in 2011.
Hosts Congress Centrum Alpbach, Congress Messe Innsbruck, Convention Service Innsbruck and Convention Bureau Tirol associations successfully bid for the event.
ICCA represents the world's leading destinations and service providers in the meetings and congress industry and comprises 1,100 member organisations in 100 countries.
The AMP convenes 150 suppliers and planners from the conference industry to exchange knowledge on promoting, planning and organising international association meetings.
The slogan of the event will be “Together to the top”, and the theme “Collaborate, innovate, elevate”, in order to reflect the forward-thinking and inclusive nature of the programme.
“Life is too short for boring meetings. We are confident that we can offer all AMP participants an unforgettable experience in the Tirolean mountains. With our teamwork, we want to be a role model for the industry," the four hosts, Congress Centrum Alpbach, Congress Messe Innsbruck, Convention Service Innsbruck and the Convention Bureau Tirol are all agreed.
"We are happy that the AMP will take place from 29th June to 1st July 2020, with an exciting programme in the host towns of Innsbruck and Alpbach", said Senthil Gopinath, ICCA CEO.
