The new Toulouse Exhibition and Convention Centre is under construction and will offer three venues in one place when it opens in June 2020.

When complete it will be the third largest venue in France.

Located six kilometres from the Blagnac International Airport to the west of France’s fastest growing city, the new centre will offer an option in the south of the country that is far from the Cote’d’Azur and provides easy road access for delegates and exhibitors with 5,000 car parking spaces on the site.

It will occupy a 55-hectare site with a Hilton Hotel and seven exhibition halls with 40,000sqm of exhibit space plus a further 25,000sqm of outdoor exhibition space and a convention centre that will accommodate 3,400 in a theatre-style plenary session. The project will be managed by GL Events who already manage 22 major venues in France and many more worldwide.

While Toulouse is well-known for its aerospace industry, less is known of its modern research laboratories, engineering schools and information technology incubators. It is France’s second largest university city with more than 130,000 students.
