Get Global and Saxton Speakers Bureau partner for the first time to deliver Matt Jones and Michelle Bridges to the one-day event at Sydney’s ICC (Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre).

Matt Jones is a strategist, branding expert and co-founder of Four Pillars Gin. Jones is set to give insights into how to grow a business and develop a successful brand.

Michelle Bridges is one of Australia’s best-known personal trainers and a celebrated author who is expected to share her journey in finding a work-life balance and inspire attendees to do the same.

Gary Bender, co-founder of Get Global and managing director of World Corporate Travel (WCT) said: “Michelle’s tell-them-how-it-is approach to business and clients is perfectly suited for the fast-paced events industry.

“It’s great we’re able to bring a new perspective, people don’t want to always hear from the same voices.”

“Michelle Bridges and Matt Jones are great speakers for Get Global; they’re both entertaining and personable, but with focused, tangible messages that the audience can take away and apply immediately in their lives and businesses,” added Donna Kessler, co-founder of Get Global and director of Tourism Portfolio.

The full programme announcement is due to be released in the coming weeks for Get Global’s third edition, set to take place on Friday 26 July 2019. The event is focused on introducing Australia’s outbound meetings industry buyers to the international suppliers market.

Venues, airlines, DMCs, hotels and Bureaus from Europe, Africa, Hawaii, New Zealand, North America and the Pacific region will be showcasing products at the event in geographically themed zones. Props, feature walls and vinyl prints will help attendees to identify which region they’re in.

For exhibitors that represent multiple regions and do not wish to be restricted by geographical zones, the “Global” zone will be available to global sales offices.

Last year’s “Get Smart Corner” which is where Bridges and Jones will give their talks, featured a morning session with Lola Berry, an Australian nutritionist and television host who inspired co-founder Kessler to put down her breakfast brownie and pick up a healthy yoghurt.
