The Hague will be the next host city of the Annual European MPI Congress.

The event will take place at the World Forum The Hague and other locations on 9-12 February 2019.

The announcement, made at the SITE + MPI Global Forum in Rome, comes after a two-year period of working towards securing the bid. Numerous local parties have been involved in the process.

Nienke van der Malen - van der Horst, director of The Hague Convention Bureau, said: “It is an honour to host the next Annual European Forum in The Hague. This is a great outcome for both MPI’s local chapter and our city. We also see it as a testament to the great collaboration between MPI Netherlands, World Forum The Hague and other partners.”

Deputy mayor of The Hague Karsten Klein, added: “We are looking forward to welcoming the delegates for the Annual European MPI congress in The Hague next year. I am convinced that our city is a great meeting point for local as well as for international meeting professionals.”

This conference will be the first to be fully planned and hosted by the local chapter, MPI Netherlands. MPI is the largest international association for meeting professionals with a global community in 19 countries.
