The St. Regis Macao sits at the heart of the famed Cotai Strip, offering its guests easy access to 850 duty-free shops, world-class restaurants and endless entertainment. The only hotel in Macao offering full butler service, it is an oasis of calm amid the bustle. It offers 400 elegant rooms and suites.

Its meeting space includes the Astor Ballroom, five meeting rooms, two boardrooms and a VIP meeting room. Considered the finest in Macao, many rooms offer natural daylight. The property offers bespoke banquet services and customisable breakout rooms. Connected to Sheraton Grand Macao Hotel via the fifth floor, together they offer a combined venue for up to 5,000. For smaller groups there are unique venue options such as The Manor, designed to resemble an upmarket residence and ideal for dinners and receptions for around 50.

To ensure serenity, the gaming halls are not visible from the public areas of the hotel.

With the group’s Signature Rituals, in-house group activities are easy to include in any programme.

Local funding from the Macao Government offers significant financial support for exhibitions and conferences held in Macao.

Case history

Metlife Korea Annual Conference

In November 2018, MetLife Korea held its annual Team Challenge – a reward and recognition conference for 240 of the life insurance company’s top performers – for the second time at The St. Regis Macao.

After a late evening arrival, each of the delegates checked in to their St. Regis suites, complete with the St. Regis Butler service.

Day one of the event saw meetings, seminars and breakout sessions held before attendees were asked to don their swimming costumes and take part in a team building afternoon of fun in the outdoor pool. Facilitated by a professional host, participants, ranging in age from their 20s to their 60s, were split into teams and all took part.

As the sun set, delegates were treated to a Portuguese-inspired poolside barbeque buffet and a Korean MC got the party started. Two Korean DJs then headlined a K-Pop techno dance party with dancers, live singers and music into the night.

The Team Challenge Awards took place the next day in The St. Regis Macao’s Astor Ballroom. This was followed by a Chinese banquet lunch, showcasing traditional Cantonese banquet dishes. Guests departed after lunch.
