Designed for conventions, exhibitions and special events, the new multi-purpose Marina Hall is a versatile space set on the waterside, making it ideal for activities and showcases both on and off the water.
Connected to the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) – the largest in the MENA region - via a footbridge, it is easily accessible from Abu Dhabi International Airport and downtown Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi International Boat Show
The Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS) was the first show to make use of the new Marina Hall in November. Bringing together the world’s best brands and industry specialists, it provided a showcase of the latest innovations in boating, fishing and water sports. ADIBS attracted 10,386 visitors and 549 brands from 44 countries and made use of 42,000 sqm of show space.
The Boat Show was able to neatly integrate the extensive Marina Hall with a six-metre-deep channel that enabled yachts of all sizes to berth alongside. A moveable pontoon was positioned so that visitors could access the boats and view on-water attractions from the exhibition outside as well as from inside in the Hall.
“We are delighted to be the first event to showcase ADNEC’s brand new Marina Hall,” says Saeed Al Mansoori, CEO, Capital Events – organiser of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show. “This versatile space adds a new dimension to the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show, allowing us to equally serve all sectors of the marine industry with exhibiting opportunities on and off the water, as well as the waterfront outdoor exhibition spaces, taking advantage of the perfect November UAE weather.
“It offers fantastic flexibility for all of our exhibiting companies to show their products and services in their perfect setting, as well as increasing the ‘wow factor’ for all of our visitors, letting them engage with the very best that the regional marine lifestyle sector has to offer, in world-class surroundings.”
With a 10m ceiling height, the new Marina Hall offers 10,000 sqm of floor space with loading bays and parking for 700.
