Malaysia announces flurry of bid wins despite Covid disruption

Malaysia has been proving the show must go on after winning several major association meetings.

The country’s hard-working convention and exhibition bureau (MyCEB) has won 46 bids for meetings and events in the last three months, including a flurry of international conventions.

They include the 19th Asian Battery Conference and Exhibition, the 16th World Federation of Chiropractic Biennial Congress and Asian Mayor’s Summit on Active Living 2022 and the Asian-Ocean Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine 2024 (AOCRM 2024).

“We would like to thank you and your team for a job well done,” said Professor Dr. Nazirah Hasnan, the President of Malaysian Association of Rehabilitation Medicine about MyCEB.

He added: “We are proud to be able to showcase Malaysia and look forward to working with your dynamic team to ensure that this will be an extraordinary conference.”

AOCRM is one of the most highly acclaimed conferences in the field of rehabilitation medicine and regular attracts more than 1,000 delegates. This year’s event was due to be held in Seoul, Korea, in July, but the coronavirus pandemic forced organisers to hold the event on a virtual platform.
