We can’t make social media work either

I could totally relate to your Editor’s Blog Social Media on Trial as we have been trying, and failing, to get any meaningful engagement on any of the platforms you mentioned. Numbers yes, engagement no. I would be very interested to know if ANY associations have made a successful fist of social media – or is it time we started treating social media companies as businesses who aren’t in it to make our life easier – but to make a fast buck!?
